The OPEN SESSION is aimed at introducing people to Psychodrama. It is instructional, experiential and low key - a great way to experience the greatness of Psychodrama within a safe setting. Though therapeutic value is often felt from the experience, Open Sessions are not psychotherapy sessions and the director is not present in the role of psychotherapist. The purpose of the Open Session is for participants to experience the Psychodramatic method as an introduction. There is time for questions. All experience levels are welcome. Prior registration is requested though not required. All interested lay persons and professionals are welcome. This event is Sponsored by the American Society for Group Psychotherapy and Psychodrama.

Continuing Education Information:
This Open Session is sponsored by the ASGPP NE Chapter; therefore, this Open Session meets criteria for 2 training hours towards psychodrama certification. In accordance with the Practitioner Certification Requirements for training hours for certification in Psychodrama, Sociometry and Group Psychotherapy by the American Board of Examiners in Psychodrama, Sociometry and Group Psychotherapy, a trainee may apply a maximum of 100 hours of the total required hours for certification from individuals other than TEPs and PATs provided the training occurred at a local, regional and/or national conference sponsored by the American Society of Group Psychotherapy and Psychodrama(ASGPP).
